A personal long-term composition project dedicated to cinematic writing. Each month, a fully realized independent score is created as if for a feature film, exploring distinct genres, sonic palettes, and narrative concepts. Every composition is produced to the same professional standards as commissioned film work.
About the project
In film scoring, much of the music remains unheard until a production is released. Imaginary Film presents standalone cinematic scores independent of a finished film, allowing the music to exist immediately while preserving its narrative depth and structural integrity.
The project serves as a structured creative framework, enabling:
- Exploration of diverse genres and sonic languages
- Expansion of compositional techniques and orchestration approaches
- Development of thematic and narrative cohesion within a fixed monthly cycle
- Continuous artistic growth through disciplined output
