There Was a Trace is a hybrid cinematic score unfolding like a detective noir scene — a quiet reflection and a search for truth intertwined with fragments of memory and doubt, gradually giving way to decisive action. As something begins to reveal itself, the scattered pieces start forming a coherent shape.

The composition was created using only Piano Colors library, pushing a single library beyond its traditional piano identity into a fully developed cinematic palette.

This track is the second release in the Imaginary Film — Monthly Cinematic Score series, a self-initiated monthly project focused on independent cinematic composition.
